Safety of Teflon™ Textile Finishes
Teflon™ textile finishes are safe for their intended uses, based on extensive testing by Chemours, knowledge of product properties, and a long history of safe use. In fact, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), does not believe there is any reason for consumers to stop the routine use of products made with PFCs including nonstick cookware and products such as breathable, all-weather clothing.₁
